Artist, colourist and anthropologist.

Marie works in the spaces between culture, colour, people and places. Her practice encompasses the rich energy and vibrant colours of the Latin America she grew up in, the chaotic discipline of her years working around the world in some of its largest corporations and her passion and talent for filling spaces with joy, colour and expressions of freedom.

The heady mix of art, business, culture and emotion expressed through her art is equally reflected in her career off the canvas. Graduating NYU with an undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Business before a stint at L'Oreal designing branding (some of which is still on the shelves today) Marie completed a Masters in Cultural and Creative Industries at King's College London and then took up a position at Bloomberg in London before setting out to focus on her practice in 2014. 

Since then, Marie has also graduated from Chelsea College of Art with postgraduate diploma in fine art and her work has exhibited globally including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, New York, London, Paris and Tokyo.
